A new study conducted for the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress on Jewish identity among Jews from the former Soviet Union has found that despite a lack of religious emphasis in Jewish identity, connection to Jewish ethnicity among this population remains strong.
Though it only regulates the right to immigrate and obtain Israeli citizenship, the law has a significant impact on the processes taking place in Israeli society and in Jewish communities around the world.
The EAJC leadership team consists of prominent philanthropists and public figures, many of whom are familiar with the activities of the Jewish communities and organizations in the Euro-Asian region.
